For stovetop cooking:

Ingredients
• 6-10 chicken thighs
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 4 cups beef broth
• 3 & 3/4 cups uncooked rice
• 1-2 smoked sausage links
• 1 packet Ole South Brands chicken
bog seasoning
Serving Size: Serves approximately 15 people
1.In a large kitchen pot (approx. 6 qt. ), add chicken thighs, beef and chicken broth, and Ole South Brand seasoning (regardless of pot size, remember to add twice as much beef broth as chicken broth.)
2. Cover pot and bring to hard boil for 5 minutes
3. Then, low boil for 45 minutes or until chicken falls off of the bone.
4. While chicken is cooking, slice as much smoked sausage as preferred into small pieces and brown in frying pan, drain and set aside.
5.Next, remove chicken from pot, allow to cool, remove meat from bone and set aside.
6.Save broth and add 1 cup uncooked rice for every 2 1/2 cups broth as desired. Add cooked chicken and sausage back to broth, stir and bring to hard boil for 10 minutes.
7. Then, reduce heat to medium-low, cover pot and simmer for approximately 15 minutes or until rice is done.
8. If chicken bog appears to have excess liquid, continue to simmer at low heat until desired amount of moisture is absorbed.
9. Allow rice to cool, serve, and enjoy!
